Encounters With People in life;What Are Your Choices?


The Road Of Life

LIFE OFFERS A LOT .TAKE ONLY THE BEST
Life is like a road on which you keep walking.On either side of this road people,events,experiences,thought concepts  are lined up.Lets consider them as perennial “life objects”.These life objects continuously meet you as you walk along the life road.Some life objects are going to make you feel pleased,some may not.

People As "Life Objects"

Out of all the life objects lets focus on people,since that group of “life objects” affects our life more than anything else.
Some people will be good to experience,some people will leave you with an unpleasant after- experience.As you walk along the road of life you are likely to encounter both kind of people,pleasant and unpleasant.

What Do You Choose To Do With People?

Now what do you do?Do you decide to make your life a reservoir of memories of good experiences with pleasant people,their actions,their words?Do you determine to keep up association with more such people,and bless them for their goodness?
Funnily instead,do  you decide to enter the helpless victim category? Do you do choose to build a huge pool of unpleasant memories out of experiences with negative people?And choose that to cloud your expectations of future encounters with other people?

The Fallout Of Your Own Choices

One choice,and the habitual attitudes originating from there,can bring you increasing amounts of happiness,simplicity,confidence,love,peace,and fulfillment.The other choice will, sooner than later,bring  you deeper levels of dissatisfaction,dissonance,complicated thinking,suspicious attitudes towards others,and low confidence.

Surprisingly you will also notice that as you habituate yourself to recall good memories,you will begin to expect better things in future as well.And by the Supremely Mysterious Law you will most definitely begin attracting more and more good experiences into your life.
The corollary is that no one is responsible for our state of mind but ourselves.That is why you can never fix the blame for your own wrong thinking and negative attitudes on other people.The more you blame,and accuse others for your own moods,emotions,and attitudes, the further you drift away from yourself;and truth.

Consider Your Responsibility

1.Negative Thinking.Negative thinking is always the manner in which you are employing your own thoughts and opinions.Not someone else’s handiwork.
2. Feel Good About Yourself. The better you feel about yourself the closer you are to the truth,and the more likely are you to be happy,confident, fulfilled,and unruffled by others’ behavior or beliefs.
3. Importance Of Insignificant Or Significant People. Without doubt you have in your life some people who’s opinion or behaviors you consider insignificant to your happiness.Now if you can be emotionally unaffected by the "insignificant" people in your life,surely you can extend that logic to those supposedly very significant lot  as well.Remember we are aiming to attain personal emotional mastery.Not outwitting any one.
4. Thoughts Inside Your Mind .It’s  only the constantly running tape of  thoughts inside your mind that makes you happy or unhappy.Not any external object,event,or person.The sooner you realize this the higher your chances of “all-time-fulfillment” in life.
5. Change Your Thoughts. Make an effort to change your thoughts for the better.Then keep them changed.All positive thoughts have a beneficial effect.

Wonderful post Mona. You are talking my talk! :) Our thoughts are creating everything in our life. Choosing what we are going to think about our relationships, work, children and ourselves is the difference between feeling good or feeling lousy! It's all up to us. Hard at times to be accountable, but once we start down the road of owning our thoughts and feelings and the results is the most empowering journey!

I endorse what you say about thoughts running our lives,completely.With passage of time the manifestation of thought entities becomes more and more apparent in our lives.Only we have to be a little conscious of this phenomenon.

Mona, our thoughts indeed create our life so we need to be careful about them.

The way to start changing them is to become more conscious about our thoughts. Only when we can see what our mind produces can we start changing them to thoughts which serve us better..I agree with you - changing our thoughts is the first step to living a more fulfilling life.

Yest that's very true our thoughts do make alot of difference to our realities.
The more we manufacture the thought software the more it manifests into our reality.
Thought combined with emotion and feeling is a very potent manifesting force.
