ATTENTION AND EXPECTATION HAVE INFINITE POTENTIAL TO TRANSFORM

Attention is the application of consciousness to your present.Expectation is the engagement with the future
ATTENTIVENESS  ALIGNS WITH DESIRE

Attention is the application of consciousness to your present.Expectation is the engagement with the future.If you remain attentive in the present and  expect with detachment for the future
, the results could astound you.The outcome could be perfectly aligned with your desires.
Remember to keep your attention focussed on the best prevailing around you.Consciously.

Normally we think unconsciously,respond equally unconsciously,and attend to life unconsciously

That way you would be at an advantage to bypass any fleeting wave of distraction,the kind that pulls you into a negative void.
Normally we think unconsciously,respond equally unconsciously,and attend to life unconsciously.However if we could become a little more conscious about our surroundings ,our thinking ,our feelings,our relationships,our memories, perhaps life would settle down into a more deliberate flow instead of scudding by mechanically.
Yet we are at a loss about how to go around our own thinking,our own unconsciousness.Often we are reminded of our unconsciousness when we read or discuss about it,but after a while we gloss over  prevailing reality and simply slip into old repetitive patterns.Then what do we do to awaken ourselves?


WATCH WHERE YOUR ATTENTION TRAVELS
You could simply ask yourself to setup a mental watch over your attention,where does it keep travelling?


There are a couple of things you can do to become aware of where your attention is trained, at a given moment in your life.
  1.Remind yourself to come back to yourself  at various times of the day .You could fix specific intervals for this.
   2.you could set an alarm chime for reminding you.If you are in a meeting you could put your  cellphone on buzz alarm.
   3.You could utilise stimuli in your surroundings.Whenever you hear a  loud sound during the day ,a whistle,or a horn, or a sneeze ,or a flash of light reflecting off some thing.
  4.You could use transitions. Whenever you cross a doorway,or whenever you see yourself in a mirror during the day remind yourself to see where your thoughts were.
   Now regardless of the manner of your reminder to consciousness,or the frequency ,you could simply ask yourself to setup a mental watch over your attention,where does it keep travelling?What were you thinking just before the reminder went off ?It need not be  a strenuous, tedious process .You would like to be light about it ,relaxed about it,in playful sense if possible.Yet the rewards could be far more serious and beneficial.

Expectation is the younger cousin of attention, feasting on the future...


EXPECTATION FEASTS ON THE FUTURE
It would bring you in close contact with your thinking process and the unconscious patterns surrounding it .It should not surprise you to find yourself calming down,relaxing a bit in erstwhile stressful situations.Attention ,and the awareness of it is a skill worth learning.Expectation is the younger cousin of attention, feasting on the future.Both need to be nourished equally ,to achieve our desires.
