Your inner stability and calmness (happiness) is enhanced by your response to outer circumstance and inner fluctuating thoughts.You know you are permitted to look calmly at any threatening concept or thought that enters your inner field? 

It's Nothing Very Serious

Whenever anything disturbing accosts you tell yourself this is nothing very disturbing. It’s OK. Tell yourself its OK. Its not too bad really. As a matter of fact, you are permitted to change your attitudes and there is no compulsion to stick to old thoughts and feelings.

Meet Your Inner Being


There is a powerful being inside you. Recognize that powerful being. This powerful being recognizes all the good in your life and in this world. Compared to the weak and disempowering concepts that commonly crop up, this being sees something equally opposite and good. This powerful being sees good possibilities wherever you usually spot trouble. 

Connect With Your Inner Being
Delink From the Past

This being identifies the goodness in the future, and in the past about the same things that you erringly disturb  yourself about concerning the  future and the  past. Connect yourself with this being and choose to see your past and future, through fresh eyes. All incidents of your past which frequently rush at you loaded with disturbance, you can decide to look at them again. This time, without the illusory disturbance attached to them. Delink the illusion of the disturbance in the past. It’s really an illusion only. Delink the disturbing feelings of the past. They are also illusions which are fed through your continued attention to the seeming disturbance. 

Take an  Objective View

Replace that feeling and that illusion with a neutral objective view, and then add some illumination, and some brightness to it. You will realise that you can deliberately remove the illusory “sting” from a situation. Feel empowered & strong about your circumstances. Feel capable of handling your circumstances positively

How Do You Handle Circumstances?

Recognize your ability to handle circumstances. Always, always focus on the constructive solutions in a situation. Simultaneously keep disconnecting yourself from previous, mechanical, negative emotional responses. Remember your inner stability is the most important ingredient of all your life circumstances.So generate new, fresh, empowering insights & responses to circumstances. Feel self relaxed instead of threatened.Remember your strength is related to how you handle them,not the  size of the problems. The more you train yourself  grapple with  bigger  situations boldly and calmly the stronger you are. 

Remember to never trade the big for the small.

Good tips here on reframing problems and difficult situations Richa. The more we focus on the solution than the problem, the more readily the answer will be. Also, reflecting on our past, the more we realize we have achieved and overcome obstacles will help encourage to keep moving forward, being confident that we've done it before and can do it again.

I use the strategies you list, and they work most of the time. However, sometimes it gets too much, and I end up feeling overwhelmed. When that happens I know I need to work out more! Physical exercise does wonders for the mind. :-)
