The difference between genius and insanity is success.
When Einsten postulated his seminalTheory of Relativity it was little known, then, that he was bringing his insights from a different dimension altogether.Doubtless he was a genius and assiduous in his empirical research ,yet his findings required something beyond gross intellect alone.
Genius is derived from the Latin wordroot genii implying ”guiding spirit” of the person.A lot of research went into the origin of genius and it was widely agreed that anyone possessing exceptional intelligence creativity or deep insight could be termed as a genius .Galton concluded that sensory acuity and reaction time are fairly good measures of neurophysical efficiency. In the modern-day Lewis Terman popularisedIntelligence Quotient ( IQ ) to gauge scales of intellect-the threshold being an IQ of 140 to qualify for the super club.
While academicians can debate the concrete attributes and genesis of the super intelligent acumen it certainly calls for a detached enquiry from another viewpoint.Have we really endeavoured to discover the possibility of genius residing within every person ,other than the gifted and “known” few? What about the teeming millions .Well, one may say the ancient Hindus who meditated for years were equally gifted, perhaps more ,for the astounding insights they brought to mankind. The probable drawback is that nothing was documented about their achivements in terms of modern paraphernelia. Now when we hear about a shoal of white sharks possessing exceptional intelligence ,might not all humans be capable of the same..and more.In fact Einstein and all his contemporaries, his predecessors and his successors in the genius club were divinely guided.
There is an invisible power which is available to all sentient beings to enhance their level of consciousness ,and hence their intelligence. This power is tapped, though innocuously, by many seers, spiritual seekers, and advanced souls who are quite at home with the enormity of the omniscience at their disposal. So its no surprise that Einstein was a spiritual soul himself
