TIPS ON BLOGGING FOR PROFIT WITH DETACHMENT

Detachment is a simple process of viewing your circumstances from a distance. The modern world may look at this concept with curiosity, but it has been inherent in the development of mankind and has been practiced in all spiritual streams across cultures and faiths. The Buddists, the Hindus are known to preach a detached view of the world.Ancient Greeks were taught detachment by the famous Zeno of Citium in the 3rd century B.C.The tenets are better known as Stoicism. It is chiefly centered around maintaining calm in all situations. The Stoics were taught to  “be above misfortune”.Can this level of detachment be extended to blogging?Well yes.The blogger is another human being after all. What does he have to do to practice Stoicism,to practice detachment? He merely has to maintain calm-especially if he or she is concerned with putting out engaging and insightful content, which essentially brings in better profits. That’s all. Sounds like a tall order, but it’s not so tall really.

ASK  A FEW QUESTIONS IF YOU’RE BLOGGING FOR PROFIT

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) show  the best way forward as far as overcoming limitations are concerned.NLP urges us to ask pointed questions which “unblock” our hidden weaknesses. So we need to ask ourselves some basic queries:- What precisely is detachment? How does one develop detachment?Where do I stand now as far as detachment is concerned ?What are the benefits for me?

IGNORE BLOGGING WITH DETACHMENT AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Blogging for profit is important.Sound as if you’re being asked to disconnect yourself completely?Give up?Pack up? Most certainly I wouldn’t want to hurt your profits, and at the same time I wouldn’t like you to be hurt either.Hence this  modest effort to introduce you to maintaining calmness, and detachment. When you see you have written killer content on your blog, you have applied SEO tricks, you have done everything to ensure good traffic, yet results don’t show up as you expected. What do you do now?Fume and fret?Wring your hands?Scream?Complain?Whine?Begin to doubt yourself? Surely none of this is going to alleviate your agony. So what do you do?

DETACHMENT IN BLOGGING FOR PROFIT

First of all Comprehend the concept in it’s entirety.Understand what detachment is.Detachment is an absolute level of calmness.Particularly for a blogger detachment is key,if he intends to write good content. Because as they say “content is king’.Detachment essentially implies letting go for a while, breaking off and coming back refreshed. It also certainly means not obsessing with results, and rather focusing on constructive action.Logically it indicates that if your action(s) are correct the result will surely be correct.A couple of actions specifically directed at developing detachment will help.

MEDITATE

A blogger ,or anyone else, must meditate for detachment.Meditation is best done in the early morning hours,or in the evening hours. That is the time when the universal cosmic energies are most congenial for communing with your silence.Infact contacting your silence within is the initial objective of meditating. That is how you are led to your deepest insights. That is when you can take a step back from your immediate situation and take a fresh look at life. That is also how the most creative ideas can strike you.And benefit your marketing.

CONTEMPLATE

The next best is to contemplate over your situation, whether it is ideas for content for your blogging,or SEO strategy for your blog,or generating profits for your blog. You only step back mentally, emotionally and view your situation with a little more objectivity than you are accustomed to.You are not meditating. You are thinking.Calmly.Focussing clearly, and planning systematically. Frenetic rushing around and fuming won’t take you anywhere ever.

VISUALISE

Visualisation is another interesting process .You only need to emotionalise your success and see yourself calmly going about your online endeavour, your blog monetization, your content and your unique selling point.See yourself with your mind’s eye doing extremely well and at the same time feel yourself being calm. When you go about your life ,during the rest of the day also do your work  in an “aura of Clamness”.The benefits can be phenomenal.Interestingly, in Yoga there is a unique aasan (posture) called Shavasan (corpse posture).Shavasan requires you to lie flat on the ground ,spread-eagled,eyes closed, breathing normally. Then you visualize yourself stepping out of your body, and looking at it dispassionately. It’s an extremely powerful process ,very uplifting, very elevating. There is much more to  the whole procedure. But you get the idea! You can try any of these processes, see what works best for you and follow it for twenty one days without a break.Evaluate your performance at the end of twenty one days. You may be pleasantly surprised.

BLOGGING PROS CRITIQUE THEIR OWN ATTITUDES

If you mean business - as in “business of blogging for profit” then you must objectively evaluate yourself.Assess  as profoundly as possible. Be gentle with yourself and yet be absolutely candid.Do you really remain calm when you don’t see the profits rolling in?Do you think you are inherently calm?Maybe you need to take a second look? You might subtly be camouflaging your discouragement behind a superficial  calmness.Because if it’s not true calmness born of detachment you will find yourself running around in circles, procrastinating, inwardly complaining , competing ,criticising, instead of focusing on your progress. Can you take a detached look at things around you in the normal run of life ?Now this self audit ,this self critique is not exhaustive, there’s much more you can do.And If you are able to do as much, you are well poised to resounding success my friend.

DETACHED BLOGGERS HAVE SOARING BLOGGING PROFITS

This is the great cosmic mystery which very few have comprehended. Yet it’s  a fact .The more detached you are the better are the outcomes of your endeavour.Surely your profits will see a sharp spike. That’s because you’re calm, you’re objective, focussed, and your efficiency increases when you blog or do any much else with detachment.Your relationships are harmonious ,since you’re less stressed. You are not obsessed with results, inspite of being determined. You are not immobilized with agitation if things don’t turn out the way you wanted them to instantly. If you’re serious about blogging, and blogging for profit ,then it’s good to start practicing detachment about your work sooner than later.
